Still a n00b!
3 years on demo. Testing, testing and even more testing. The mistake I have made is wasting too much time testing too simple and well known strategies. The YouTube channel forexspreadbetting mentioned he had a personal favorite with the flag strategy. Biggest waste of time ever almost. Quite steady losing strategy. Now I feel ready to start with real money though.
Although my forex journey started back in 2008/2009, my career and starting a family took precedence in the early 2010’s. Now I’m back and putting in the real work.
Around 3 and a half years… 
7 years plus as a learning quant. And no the art of the markets is in the modeling not just awful indicators. My main background is software design as well as thinking out side the box. Anyone needs help. Message me. Cheers.
