If I may suggest something. I would analysis the past trades from the last 1 or two weeks and I also would set a win % that you would want to obtain. If after looking at the last two week and see that the win % is above a level than I would keep the setting as is but if the win % in below than I would change the settings to better ones.

Just my two cents

PS I am in a buy trade that is about 90 pips profit.

Hi all, a 60+ pip trade closed this morning and im in a trade currently up 40 pips. Ill have the programmer look into the other issues with 5 decimal brokers etc.

Green, don’t worry, we all like these new setting and wont be changing them till they get stale in about 2 weeks, even after that the SL will remain extremely tight. We appreciate your input.

Olk - Thanks for the key it works for my demo account. Not sure why the key generator won’t work for me.

Currently at 4 winners 1 loser. Appears to be trading more in line with a scalping bot. SL and TP looked to be working and more in line with my liking for holding a trade.

As someone indicated before for those new to bot trading.

EA goes in the experts folder
dll file goes in the library file
indicators goe in the indicators file.

If you want to know if the bot is working, look at your journal and experts tabs. They will tell you if something is missing.

Another way is to put it on a backtest and see if it opens any trades. If it opens no trades on backtesting, again check your journal for errors.

I have got the code now, and the journal says its intitialised, but i have an X instead of a smily face, and no text on the left hand side (otimized jan 16th etc)

any ideas?

Do you have the EA activated? look at the top of the MT4 terminal. The “Expert Adviser” botton should be green.

I have the EA installed and registered on SIGT demo, but backtesting from Jan 01 give me 0 trades. Any idea why?
Any way, we need a version working on 5 dec accounts (I have SLM)

You might want to upgrade your Internet Explorer, I had the same problem (using IE 6), when i used Firefox, it worked OK.
