Hi everyone. I thought I would post a pic of my trade on here. I am a new trader and I trade price action also. Right now I am sticking mainly to chart patterns like Pennants, and Triangles. I throw in resistance line and pivot points also. After reading through this thread maybe I will start using The Fib a little bit more. Anyways here is a pic of 1 of my trades last night!
this is a great thread. I didnât read everything but just have a simple question, does price action apply to long term chart trading as well? Like daily and weekly charts?
Absolutely.
great thread, i am new to forex, and have a question regarding price action,
sometimes, depending on the broker you use, the price action may not look exactly the same, for example, two bar of bearish engulf in one brokerâs chart may shown as a doji and a bar with small real body, so in such cases, how do I interpret the price action?
similarly, the trend line you draw on one brokerâs chart maybe quite different from the line you draw on another brokerâs chart.
can someone help?
Keep it simple. Stick to one chart. Patterns may differ, but price direction is the same across the board.
Anyone see any trades going on? I am confused I just donât really see any good entry points. What does everyone else see ATM?
Hi, here is a trading setup on GBP/USD H1 chart. When price tough the previous resistance area of between 1.6220 - 1.6240 (the yellow box marked in the chart attached), we can look for short entry, stop loss will be place a few pips higher than the New York session high around 1.6280 (orange line in the chart), target profit is around 1.6060.
Where do is gone the boss of such thread???

Just been browsing through some old threads and came across this gem.
I wonder if Mastergunner99 still trades and has been successful using this trading method.
not sure if this thread is too old for new comments however i wondered what peoples thoughts are on the USD/JPY breaking a weak resistance on the weekly chart at 115.880.
Just placed a sell order on that, hoping it continues downwards.
