Yeah, there it is mate.
Hi All,

Long time no see!

Looks like a lot has changed, Aaron is travelling more than his datas, BA upgraded his BC 3000 to 6000 and lots more.

Just wanted to drop by and say : keep up the good spirit everyone!
Trading is one of the toughest jobs and very compelling. Donā€™t forget to nourish yourself in order to stay fit.

Cheers
Hi Kasravi

Good to see you! Haha yes the Trader 6000 has received a few updates lately but will need further adjustments to resolve the ā€˜pinchingā€™ issues.

Hope all is well with you, I noticed youā€™ve been taking some lovely looking trades lately. Hope your making some nice pips!

Donā€™t be a stranger!

BA

Hi BA,

Good to see you too!

Happy to see everyone under the same hood.

Keep that energy and enthusiasm up itā€™s great to read posts with full of irony and laughter.
See you around.

Cheers

Lol no not at all mate I shouldā€™ve really introduced myself to everyone else earlier. My names sam im from the uk and ive been trading for a couple of years now. And I couldnt be happier that aaron has started this amazing thread. We have known each other fot around a year now I guess and had many discussions about the fact someone should teach a less restrictive methodology. And to be honest I dont think we could have anyone better leading this group then aaron. I personally trade mainly pa and the harmonic patterns along with some vsa principles. If anyone wants more info on these please feel free to contact me privately out of respect of this thread (although im by no means an expert)

safe trading everyone

Yeh im gonna be trading some harmonic stuff but mainly focusing on PA. I still think good pa is my favourite type of trading. And yeh I really hope we are having those talks again very soon lol. And thank you for starting this up mate

Hi Sam

Its great to have you here, Iā€™m looking forward to learning more about harmonics, Iā€™ve heard lots about it but havenā€™t a clue what it is. Can you play it?

Iā€™m keeping an eye out for a pull back to go short on the NZDUSD any time frame, it looks like it has just broken out of a range and I would like to be on this one if the opportunity arises. I guess it also has the potential to form a head and shoulders pattern.

Harmonic patterns are basically a specific set of fib retracements/extensions in a specific order. Like I said I dont really wanna go into it to much on aarons thread but feel free to email me on <[email protected]> ive got a fair bit of reading material on them

I agree with the kiwi statement to. On daily its the first actual close below the range structure. Im looking for shorts as long as the break holds

USD/CHF PATTERN EMERGING,

I would very much like to see that pattern break out and shoot up rapidly, that atleast is the anticipation.
However the coming days will bring in more clearity but keeping a sharp eye on that one could be rewarding.

Wish all the best.

Cheers

Good catch, a descending triangle which had bullish connotations. I see price is hugging the upper channel right now. Do you think we will see a breakout in the next 24 hours?

Very nice, thanks Kasravi, Iā€™ve now marked it on my own charts and will keep an eye on it.

Hereā€™s one Iā€™m following:

Itā€™s getting ready to burst

Indeed, looks highly explosive.

Cheers

Top of the range on the GBP/USD daily chart has been broken and I am now looking for prices to retest the broken resistance turned support zone.

GBP/USD Daily Chart

I would be highly speculating but timing wise we are pretty much on the same page!
To be honest I would prefer if price goes for another touchdown but that might not happen.

Hopefully price will do it the classy way and make a strong move during London/us sessions whichever way.
I wouldnā€™t favour a rumble from the Asian session.

That said, still no confirmation signal in sight.

Cheers

PS: happy 200th!

im following the same pattern, looking good especially with the weak yen at the mo, gotta love the amount of easing BOJ are doing right now

Hi Sam

Hopefully it will happen soon, itā€™s getting pretty close to the end of that triangle. Thanks for your email address earlier, thats very kind of you, I will send you over an email at some point over the next day.

Just watching the Aussie, ouch. If I get stopped out at break even on the Aussie USD now that will just about sum up my last 2 weeksā€¦

no worries mate always happy to have others to bounce ideas off. where did u get in on the aussie for me 0.9300 is looking prime for shorts

very strong SR
61.8 retracement
falling trend line

Oh, donā€™t worry, Krugman. No twerking at all.

We only have a little arson at your place. You do have fire insurance, donā€™t you?

Looks like you got in earlier than me, I wish Iā€™d caught it sooner, you must have made some nice pips. I came in around 0.91261 so Iā€™m hanging on for now.

Iā€™m tempted with the 2br reversal on the 1hr charts for chfjpy and usdjpy, the chfjpy sticks nicely into my 30 EMAā€¦will mull this over but looks good as a continuation move for me.

While weā€™re at it, Jason told me that FXCM UK offers more leverage than FXCM US. This will be useful if youā€™re frustrated with US limit of leverage to 50:1.
