Hi. Hopefully this is the right way to ask a question and if not, someone please correct me! I am brand new to the world of trading and my intentions are to initially study, learn and practice to get started in this business. I want, at least initially, to learn to swing trade forex only until perhaps branching out later. I opened a TOS account and had real time data enabled so I can apply what I learn as I go. Question: TD Ameritrade would only approve me for tier one privelages which include margin, covered calls and cash secured puts. When I try and enable forex trading privelages, it says tier 2 approval is required. I was denied for tier two. Does this mean I will not be able to trade forex with TOS? If not, I do not want to invest my time learning a platform I can not use. Thank you in advance!
