Putting trades in before go to work

hey guys and ladies,

firstly wishing you merry xmas and extremely successful 2008!

i know the majority of traders is enjoying those days with their close friends and families (me also) and i wont probably get many responses right away, but please take a look…

my situation: i live in Slovenia (EST, GMT+1) and have to put all the daily trades in before 6:30 GMT, cause i need to go to work after that…

so, what are your recommendations? which strategy is best to use in this situation? the way u do it?

regards,
T

I am in a similar situation actually. What you can do is to place entry orders that will open if your expected trend takes place.

Other thing I do is to trade after work. I know it may not be the best time though.

i use Oanda, so far for demo trading…
but i was asking about the system, so if you can give me some directions you are more than welcome

im in the same time zone as you are and its pity that you cant trade the London session which is one of the best but to give you advice wake up earlier and trade the Asian session which is very good and in this case pick YEN pairs the best is gbp/jpy or eur/jpy and trade 5 or 15 min time frame if you want to take quick profit or higher time frame like 1hr or 4hr and when you get entry signal enter set up stop loss even take profit if you want and go to work.i did that many times.

i know it would be best to trade london session, cause i have been following it demo 10 days in december (IB system!!- hats off to James) and have an option to do this till february 1st as i then start a new full time job. And yes, thats why i need to get used to and test the strategy that gives me an oportunity to decide about the trades 1/2 hour in the morning before work as i make some preparations in the evening. thats why i am looking for yes preferably a strategy for 4H or 1H TF.

And this kind of trading lets me to forget about trades during 9-5 woking period, cause i will have to put a lot of attention to my new working position that i think i will also like it.

And want to know which one (strategy) you guys use that suits you if you are in the same timezone and have to work 9-5??

another thing
i will be able to start trading live with real funds probably in beginning of april and thats why i need to find a suitable system/s to put in enough demo trades to feel comfortable trading my own money later

hi im opening new forex group on skype for everyone so if you interested let me know and i will add you will be great to have you there read this 301 Moved Permanently

i definitely think that this kind of exchanging info is very positive for everybody. but in fact i have just a few questions yet unanswered and one of them was mentioned below. can you give me some idea about that here?

to be honest i have used many systems but not very happy with any so i started again with plain chart and right now using trendlines, fibonacci etc. which gives you better idea where the trend might go than any other indicator.make trading simple thats what will bring you i hope what you looking for.

yep trying to keep it as simple as possible  my greetings to “slovensko” - happy new year!

thanks a lot and same to you lots of winning trades in the next year
