Read out loud what you see, starting with 1

1
One 1 (11)
Two 1’s (21)
One 2, one 1 (1211)
One 1, one 2, two 1’s (111221)
Etc

Bravo, Eddie. – Enjoy your cigar.

I quietly envy people who can do number puzzles. I am decent with dimensional ones, but the number ones are out of my league more often than not.

Here’s one with no numbers –

You’re in a dark room with one match. In one corner there is a Wood Stove. On a table in the other corner there’s a Gas Lamp, and a Candle.

Which do you light first?

Might seem a little silly but I would suggest the match?

Not silly at all, Sir, for you are absolutely correct.

Congratulations, and here’s your cigar – which you may or may not be able to light, depending on what else you have to do with that match.

The match, obviously, as Manxx already pointed out.

Has anyone seen this one before? I spent at least 20 mins on it this morning before I got there :confounded:

Was that written by someone who was long the Euro on EURCHF day - I wonder ?

Or perhaps a Greek reminiscing over the days of the Drachma ?

Being a Stirling slave, I rather like the sentiment.

The paper clip’s worth 5 mate
The bag of Euro’s is -2

Since the question was only about the bag then, yes, you are correct with minus two…

… But since you also went one step further and
also calculated the paper clip’s worth then i have to say are you sure about the value of five?

(Only kidding just to get you worried! Ha ha)
