Question for Seasoned Traders

I’ve been in the market for a little over two years now and I haven’t noticed too many differences in market dynamics. I’ll admit, however, I was relatively lost until a year in.

I’ve heard some people say the market has changed in past years and advise to not become too acclimated to current conditions.

Has anyone noticed this change firsthand, and if so, what is it? Larger moves? Strategies failing to work all of a sudden?

There have been changes ever since central banks really stepped up their market manipulation, but periods like this are by no means anything new. Look back at history and I am sure you will find other events which disrupted markets. As a seasoned trader you will try to understand how and where you can profit with your approach and you may see an increase/decrease in your longer-term performance average.

I trade price action and in the end a candlestick is the same as it was 300 years ago, but there has been a sharp increase in fundamental events which you need to account for at least in my opinion.

I’ve been trading for 3 years. What I notice is that the markets seem to be calmer than when I started.
