Question on delivery time for teh SendMail function

I’ve recently gotten set up so that I can have alerts sent via text message - however - I was a little disappointed it took 20 minutes from the time the alert hit to the time I got the message.

Is this ‘normal’. I figured a few minutes sure - but 20 seems kind of long.

I found it varies. Sometimes its within a minute, other times up to 30 minutes. I think the problem is with the broker’s mail dispatch because I am sure its not my provider.

Try swapping to a text response.

Might have to get a new email addy to accommodate that, but it’s worth it.

How does changing it to a text response work? is it not “SendMail” in mq4?
