i was wondering what exactly it means to have a broker with EUR/GBP Spread in Asia session 2-3pips and StopLimit not exceeding 15pips. I think i found a broker (fxOPEN), but im not sure. Can someone explain this to me real quick?
I’m concerned that your worried about a 3 pip spread… why do you need such a low spread?
The stop limit depends totally on you, on what your method/system is, timeframe you’re trading, and how much room you want to leave for price to “breath”.
You can use a 1 pip stop loss order if you want but that obviously would kill all of your trades.
Hope that helps.
I think a stop limit is a pending order type meaning it executes a stop order within a given price range. Once the stop order (buy or sell) is triggered, your broker will then attempt to fill your order up to by not exceeding the limit price.
You’re right, my mistake, now I’m confused with the question.
