If a pair is ranging, does it normally take news to knock it out of that range, or can it do it any old time ?
Trying to figure out when the range may end.

I believe that only new market sentiment can make a high or low of a range look attractive enough to buy a top of a range or sell a bottom of a range for a breakout. The new market sentiment has to be from a fundamental factor.
