Hi I’m Simeon from London. New to trading but gradually working through the babypips training course. So far so good but wondering what demo platforms everyone is using to trade. Any recommendations?
I want get practising alongside the training to make it easier to understand for example the different candlesticks and Fibonacci seem interesting on paper but unless viewing and experimenting with them on a demo platform the reality isn’t quite there.
Appreciate any tips and recommendations

I got to know about baby pips during my many searches(or It was suggested to me:thinking: I don’t recall.) I hope to gain a lot of insight and probably a PhD in moustache growing too.

I am originally from the UK and quite new to forex trading although I have been studying for around 12 months now. Finding BabyPips has been fabulous, the training course is first-class and I am enjoying going through the modules and really looking forward to interacting with the community.
I had a long, successful career in electrical and electronic engineering and ten years ago I changed my career to teach young engineers of the future. I threw myself into this new role becoming a qualified teacher and gaining a M.Ed, (Master of Education) specialising in Leadership and Learning. This took me to the Middle East where I have lived and worked for the past six years managing a specialist training centre where we train young people to become technicians/engineers in the oil & gas industry.
I will be looking at retirement within the next few years so have decided to change my career once more, this time I have decided to become a trader, something I can do from almost any location in the world. The study is/will be tough but I am used to that but I will continue learning as much as I possibly can to enable me to trade profitably on a practice account, once confident to trade I will transfer to a ‘live’ account and… we’ll see what happens.

I have been learning Fx trading using demo account. I have also familiarise myself with MT4 interphase. Hi, My name is Kurt, and I have tried trading Forex many years ago! I found out I was excellent at loosing money! I even tried to do the exact opposite of what I thought I should do and lost even more money!
I was a Motorcyclist by hobby until the last two big bike wrecks totaled out both my bikes and almost took my girl in the fray! So now I don't ride....yet, still looking at getting an Indian! Or a Paraglider/Hanglider, as there are less people up there and they aren't paying more attention to their phones!
Now I'm back and trying with the help of some mentors to actually make some money so I can retire somewhere on a tropical Island, trade on the beach, and sip my whiskey, and go hang glide somewhere!

Hi everyone my names Nicolasthebaby, I have been trading the forex market for alittle over 5 years. Throughout that time I have had 1 real account and multiple demos. I have had lots of ups and down in the all accounts but I have traded on my real account for close to a year. I am still learning and want to become consistent before I put more money into it.
