I didn’t know you get stung for a $10 fee every time you close a bitcoin position. I made some profit last night but must have paid $50 in fees. I guess I should have kept my initial position open instead of scalping but it was the first time I’ve traded bitcoin.
Read your broker’s trading fees next time. You can’t just scalp bitcoin anyway. The spreads and fees are too high.
Significant BTC activity yesterday I scalped the trade up but missed the trade down because I busy was doing other things. I think the fee problem was actually the spreads which were about $9 the other day but the last two days have been more like $4 which makes BTC scalping viable.
