Scalping strategy to finish the year strong

I watched one of Nick Swawn’s videos probably over a year ago. He interviewed a trader who was Trading nothing but micro lots. And he showed scrolling through all of his open trades. There were at least 50, maybe a hundred open trades. He was up at least $2,000. I remember he said that he looked at all time frames, including monthly. Who knows how long he had some of those trades open. It was just fascinating.

Hey @THE_GOATE, I love seeing posts like this so we can compare the trades and see what you did, its very helpful in learning. I have been struggling to match up the timeframes with the trades you have taken, would you mind sharing what timezone those trades are in? Thanks so much!

Glad to know some of my fellow traders are enjoying those posts. I am somewhat surprised others are not dissecting those trades and coming up with other opinions as is usually the case. Anyway…it is now 8:45 am down here in Jamaica but the charts say 15:45 PM. You will have to do a bit of math somewhere in there, lol.

I could try trading from Sandals.

Assuming good internet, of course.

Sandals more than likely has better internet than I do since they are catering to every whim and fancy of their foreign guests. Try to get some real jamaican cuisine though, since what they offer may not be entirely authentic. Think roast yam and saltfish, local curried goat, Boston jerk pork, potato pone, lol.

Sorry to be hogging the thread AmericanTrader but I thought what the heck…I’ll share a little something with my fellow traders in regards to my trading strategy. If you notice on my screenshot you will see a few other instruments/pairs sitting there as well. They are not just for show. Take the Gold for instance…whenever Gold makes a sudden sustained downward move on the charts I expect USD/JPY to make a similar move in the OPPOSITE direction A FEW SECONDS AFTER.

@THE_GOATE
Spent a few days down there in the '90s. I ate everything!

Nonsense, you are not hogging the thread. We’re all here to just get to be better traders. I welcome your thoughts and anything you care to share about your Trading style.

Sandals is so manufactured, hundreds of tables for two everywhere, no one has anything to say to one another, because they have done the wedding with the odd ‘crazy’ escorted trip around the island thrown in for a bit of authenticity. It’s about as Jamaican as I am in its provenance. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Congratulations if you caught the signal on EU at 5:15. 30 pips so far. I missed it, but got in about 15 pips ago

6 winners and 3 losers yesterday but the winners were way bigger than the losers!

Made 6% on the account balance. Not too shabby! I know yesterday was probably a special day.

Thanks to you all especially @AmericanTrader for getting me going!

I got in late. I was in a rural area with no cell signal following this.
:

Well, I got a few pips but those tails scared me off from hanging in there.

Another decent day. More losses this morning than I wanted, but I should have known better than to trade the morning after FOMC. Great afternoon session though.
