Afternoon guys, so I have now completed my school of pipsology trading. Enjoyed it and learned quite a few bits of info which I hope will become very useful.
Bit about me, I made quite a significant amount of money ‘matched betting’ over the years, I no longer do this and have used most of the funds towards our lovely new house. Forex is my new sideline ‘hobby’.
I am a firefighter and my station has recently been put on day shifts rather than days and nights so sadly monday to friday I am pretty much working during the day.
I plan on swing trading, i like the idea of this and have a couple of trade plans drawn up.
Issue I have though at the moment is that I have the MT4 demo account on my PC at home, but i cannot download the software on the works PC’s, is there something similar I can use at work without having to download anything? (between saving cats from trees obviously
)
I am also looking for a good book to get my teeth into at nights as well?
Any help appreciated.
You could try an app on your phone/tablet. MT4 is available on most broker accounts. IC Markets has one.

the psychology of school is very important for all kinds of trader particularly for the beginners level, otherwise trading can be valueless.
as a beginner trader its really difficult to continue for long time practicing , so i think its not a good decision.
i have seen most of the traders finish the school level just for one time, its good but not enough for ensuring good knowledge and experience. minimum 2-3 times is more appropriate.
Thanks for the replies, if people are recommending further study material is there anywhere particular to look?
Was thinking myself by just practising on demo and keeping a close eye on this forum I would learn more skills that may assist me.
the importance of demo there is no way to ignore , but i have seen most of the traders we have never take demo account seriously , they just take this as time passing.
sometimes we the traders feel bore when trading in a demo account , in that time its more appropriate to trade in a micro. its a perfect decision.
The educational forum on this platform really is best to learn and then earn. Anyone with an interest to continue trading can go ahead and gain knowledge by studying and practicing.
You can use any broker’s demo account to test whether it goes well with your trading strategies or not. If it does, you can go live with it. I suggest choosing brokers that offer micro accounts so that you won’t have to risk a lot of money trying to find out the best broker for your needs.
Hello. It is good that you have completed the course and are ready to step into the world of forex. Just keep working hard and try to pay attention to your risk reward ratio.
