What is everyones take on the Scott Shubert method:confused:

Its through his company called tradingmastermind I have been looking at so many strategies on the forexfactory and also here. I really don’t know which way to go. I thought if I ask people here before I invest more money
if it would be worth.

There are more than enough free strategies and methods available over the web… i wouldn’t pay for one…

Why don’t you check out this thread I posted and check out video’s 2 and 6 in the link and see if those can help send you in the right direction…

That webinar originally cost 1500.00 to attend when it was live back in june, so start with those videos. I’d recommend watching them all because the advice within is priceless.

I bought his course. So far it has’t worked for me. I am still trying to make it work.

What key things worked or was it all of the above. Does the sprogrm help and give a complete beginner the tools they need to be successful? You thoughts

Shubert’s method works much better for me than anything else I’ve tried. If you can’t make a profit with this method, I believe you’re not cut out for Forex trading. You need to study it carefully–not only the CDs but also the wave-related stuff posted online, then do extensive backtesting.

In his online sessions, Shubert leans toward trading the 4-hour time frame, with trend-vetting on the daily. I find that trading the daily works better. Also I like to supplement Shubert’s method–against his advice–with the Ichmoku and the ADX for trend vetting, plus the MACDH to see divergences.

Shubert likes to look at each element separately. Being an engineer by training, I like to see everything on one chart, so I load it all on chart, including the Guppy multiple moving averages, using Metatrader. It’s messy, but I’m a messy guy.

I don’t attend his “Platinum” trading group, as the method I’ve devised is enough different from the straight Shubert Accuracy that I prefer to go my own way. But I couldn’t have developed it without him. In my opinion, the Shubert Accuracy course is worth the money many times over.

I also use the Shubert method, and it work’s well. How are you using the ADX, with this method? Are you using it on the daily and 4HR? Also what candle stick signals are you looking at? Finally, are you using this all in conjunction with Elliot Wave on the daily?

Hi Grayghost! It seems that the Shubert Accuracy course really worked for you and that’s good… :slight_smile:

I’ve heard about the trading group you mentioned and it sounds very interesting. I did a research about that on youtube: YouTube - Forex Traders Who Plan to Win Watch This. I heard that there are people are having good results with that.

I’m sorry but I had to comment on this. There is no one way to be successful in any trading market Period. There are many ways just pick the one you like and stick with it. Not everyone learn the same way and saying that someone’s not cut out for the forex because they can’t understand some guys Method is like saying one shoe size fits everyone. There have been many methods before Scotts’ and people had success in some and failed in others but this is apart of the learning process.

Once you find what fits your personality you will feel confident and than success could be right around the corner. Bottom line the course works for you, good for you. But don’t think that if someone don’t like Shuberts’ style that there doomed to fail. This is not true my friend there is no one way to the pot of gold.:wink:
