Search doesn't work

just tried using the search both from the top right of the page and from the advanced search page and all i get is this:

connection to 127.0.0.1:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)

ok it’s working now. must have just been temporary. now, how to figure out how to remove the sidebar because i can’t get it to go away…

Try refreshing your browser’s cache. You should see green arrows in the right margin. We’ve tested this and it’s working fine.

i still cannot get the sidebar to close. also, there is often some sort of code displayed on the pages of this website in varying degrees. this is at the top of the main forum page:

I’m getting similar errors as well. The iPhone App is getting pretty bad as well.

Hey all,

If you’re still receiving errors, whether with the website, search features, or the mobile app, please let us know. Also, screenshots help us tremendously, so when possible, send us those as well.

The Forums search feature is working just fine on our end. We have had some recent memory issues with our server that we’re still investigating. These memory issues have caused problems with the “search” service, specifically taking it completely offline. Doing a restart of the service easily fixes the search feature problem.

MG, anything specific about the iPhone app you’d like us to look at?
