the site is secretforexsociety.com, it is run by felix homogratus, the same guy from forexbastards.com. forex bastards is a review site for brokers, software, signal services, and more that i have found helpful.
felix specializes in news trading techniques, he seems to rarely mention technical analysis at all.
does anyone use felix’s secret news weapon, or forex diamonds chat room for news trading? how does it work? etc.?

Register to the free email service, he has a load of vids showing you how,
the basic jist of it is he has a EA that feeds to some news feed he has which is claimed to be faster then forex factory, bloomburg and reuters etc, and as such the EA enters the order based on the criteria of the news.
Never used they news service, although i have asked him questions and the guy that runs the site seems to answer the questions you pose.

thanx aftab. grespi gives bank levels of support/resistance for the gbpusd pair each day, and sometimes he has insider information about news reports. i’m trying to backtest how reliable those levels are.
do you trade the news with felix’s stuff, aftab?

secretforexsociety has a ton of users. i went into their chat room on a very low volatility time and there were about 30 people. felix has plenty of subscribers to his news trading room as well.

felix does have a money back guarantee, if you dont like what he is selling, cut your losses and get that dam money back!!! Personally, I have no interest in taking Rob Grespi’s trades, he trades the G/J which is a lightning fast currency with a complete bullcrap spread.
I dont know how to trust review from a site that promotes HYIP anyway, those things are just adorable little ponzi schemes.
I like forexbastards’ review section tho, the crap has ‘‘1 star’’ or a ‘‘scam’’ rating, and the stuff with 4 and 5 stars is usually decent.

I used his weapon once for a month, its actually very good technology but the problem of course is spread and getting in etc.
His signals on the news weapon also leave something to be desired also which of course him not having any formal qualifications in finance or economics isnt unsual.
I don’t believe felix or rob grespi even trade live they use demo’s and make there living off the training.
They are a kind of Tony Robbins style hype based business development team.
Never seen a live statement from felix or grespi, never even seen a live trade in progress his video’s don’t show if its live or demo that I can see.
Anyway he did give my money back for the SNW so he does seem to honor his agreements.
Also that trading chat room the free one if you ask many people in there they don’t even subscribe to any of his stuff, some have and think its no good they just go in there to chat about there own trading.
However the fact is news reports aren’t meant to be traded in this jump in jump out catch the spike manner, the only reason it moves so much is because the large money from banks etc are altering there positions for new economic outlook.
Even they essentially aren’t trading the news its just regular assessment and changing of things due to world economic outlooks.
And when your dealing with such large amounts of money then of course its bound to jump all over the place.
Retail traders just try get in on the move and scalp some money but in reality its gambling.
If you have a decent trading strategy it should survive the test of news and still be on its trending way days later.
Forexbastards is ok however, anything posted negative about his buddies or there business wont be accepted.
Which of course means it isn’t an unbiased rating site.
Really id stay away from guys like this, there systems there marketing, study your own methods and strategies, do some research, don’t try and get rich quick and maybe just maybe you might still be around trading and making a profit 10 years from now.
thanks mofo, what caught my attention is that the SNW gets its data from bloomberg, or reuters as soon as it is released from the vault. so in theory, you should be able to get into the trade before the spike. it works on some of his videos, some are a loss, some break even. i’ll try it someday.

Don’t get sucked in by that guy, he ain’t no trader, he makes his loot by sucking in ususpecting newbies to buy his ‘secret news weapon’. the reason for my post is because i havent USED the services, and there is a possibility that some traders here have, so i was asking for their experience.

I think that whole site is a scam. I tried to post twice. I was asking questions about a software " reviewed " on the site and wondering if anyone had and could post concrete results rather than the rah rah types reviews. Neither of my postings made it. Also the site will not allow imediate posting has to go for " review " or beter put censership.
I like Felix, with his utube videos, but theres something about him I dont like.
His service is overpriced and YES- his forum reviews … maybe a little “fixed”- I have posted and still yet to see it. I would think 30 days would be enough time to “review”.
Use judgement, but his videos are entertaining.
i have no opinion of felix but i know he runs a network of sites. It just smells of a gimmick when the normal price is something like 999/mo but you can earn a scholarship for 250/mo on one of the sites and there is waiting list. Also when testing a couple of the payment pages error out so i have to question the overall quality of the website. I guess he is just too busy making money trading.
I honestly think this web-site is as honest as most. The free news trading updates seem to be good, even though I don’t trade them, they do a pretty good job of letting you know what may happen when the news comes out. I have submitted several review ratings and they have made it into the review site in a timely manner. I’m sure some of the ratings are “dummied-up” but there is no realistic way Felix can police this. Just my opinion. Bob
I actually would have thought he would have displayed a couple reviews under 3 stars just to add some legitimacy to the service. Kind of like when cheating in high school you cant answer every question correctly or exactly.
I’m actually currently a member of ‘Forex Diamonds’ The service that felix runs every day basically (except weekends…duh) I did not however sign up for the ‘secret news weapon’…which would cost me an extra 200 bucks since i’m a member of ‘Diamonds’ (normally cost 299/month just like ‘Diamonds’).
Well anyway…it’s been two weeks so far and I have made NO TRADES…they tell me that the summer…june,july and august is the slowest times for news trading…so just holdin on and hopefully sept. will pick it up.
I honestly think these guys are legit, the trading room before a report release is a chat room;which is packed by the way;with all sorts of characters and walks of life…and also various experience levels…I have even made some friends that have been part of the service for months if not years I chat with them sometimes on standalone chats like AIM or Yahoo…they give good, sound advice and promote the continuance of knowledge and patience.
Like I said, I have made NO trades…kinda frustrating… but they do keep the communication open and are very welcoming. I’m trying news trading because of all the up-side I hear about it. But I also want to be proficient in the technicals…but any-whoo…I will keep you gusy posted on the Site and service…completely unbiased and honest…just trying to make my way like the rest of em’.
yeah i know for a fact felix deletes negative post about his buddies. chris donnell runs leveragefx and there were several negative posts about his software that were later deleted because he asked felix to take them down.
i think he also sold vacuums on ebay…when door/to door didnt work- i think , or was that steaks.
