Is there a dedicated topic or board for people to discuss and learn quantitative or algorithmic trading? (aka bot or EA trading)

I’m getting pretty deep into it after learning python and now hitting the point where a degree in computer science would come in handy… or access to one such person that would be a teacher at heart :slight_smile:

Questions I have is more along the lines of:
What’s the good information sources for people with a poor maths background? (limited but learning)
Eddie Chan is waaaayyy over my head since he’s talking to people with degrees in maths. I can tell his info is gold for professional quants, but his latest book way too much for me to digest.

Build a bot, or modify an open source bot?
Like most software, I’ve learned if it’s free it is limited in function or doesn’t work.

Possibly, I’ll dive into the topic deeper. First pass it looked like an advertising form for EA’s on MT4 :laughing:

Oh really? :open_mouth: Hmm. :thinking: I guess it would be pretty cool if you just use this thread for EA discussions? :slight_smile: I feel like a lot of people have been talking about EAs on here, so it might be helpful for them to have a consolidated or centralized thread. Haha. :smiley:
