We know income is different from savings. But let’s say I have a 100k month and all bills are paid, including household food. If I’m not doing anything special, I’m pretty much not spending anything, but if I were to take your 10% rule, that’s 10k. I have no clue what i will spend it on if i have nothing special in mind.
