The problem with an EA is that it is scripted and runs off that script, in order for it to keep up with ever changing markets it will need to be modified from time to time. Question is, do you know how to modify the EA? No matter how old you are, if you can still post on BabyPips, you can still learn to trade. I’m not saying EAs don’t work, I’m saying you can’t always rely on them. Read what BabyPips has to say about EAs/Robots
I suggest to make manual consistent profit before you use EAs. Just my opinion

That makes perfect sense. It’s important to learn how to do things manually, than to depend on a bot to help you make profits. There are TONS of ways you can trade, but you just have to find a way that works for you. A lot of trial and error, but as long as you’re consistently trading then eventually you will find a way
You do not need Expert advisors to have profitable trades. Since, you love forex trading, you will be really good at it.Also, EA’s do not modify strategy often. you should trade manually and try to make the most of it. All the Best!
