Shortcuts for insert/shape/rectangle

right now, i am working on some tests with staregie. It would make my work alot easier if i could draw rectangles faster then clicking inset/shapes/rectangle. Is there a short cut? It would also be good if i could just repeat last action. What do you guys recomend?

Right click on the tools pannel-customize-insert anything you need.
