Slippage stats

Is there anyone that can guide me in how to get slippage statistic from MT4 for a specific broker? If I read that they have minimal slip, is there anyway it can be proven. I’d love to get:

Slippage at opening a position and slippage at closing overall stats and also during specific news releases.

I really don’t want to ask the broker as I don’t think that it will be accurate anser.

If not, this would be a great tool to develop!

you could probably create an indicator or EA for that.

Agree with Fring. Creating the indicator will help otherwise EA…

MT4 is probably not the best tool for measuring slippage, as it has a hidden feature to add artificial slippage - which can be much higher - to the slippage of the broker.
