Smtp server for gmail or any other server

Hello guys,

I got an EA written for alerts/notifications, apart from getting an alert box pop up and sound, I requested an e-mail alert too.

But my challenger has been making the smtp server work for my Gmail.

I do not mind using any other email server. I use MT4email server

  1. SMTP server : Fill in smtp. gmail .com:587.
  2. SMTP login: Fill with your email address (Sender)
  3. SMTP password: Fill with your email password.
  4. From: Fill with your email address (Sender)
  5. To: Fill with the target email address (Receiver)

Is there another setting for MT5 e-mail notfication ? Same settings work for MT4 but fails for MT5.

MT5 platform is next generation MT4 so, probably this is different settings
