What software do you use for backtesting? I have used Motivewave where I import historical prices and is free. (I am not affiliated)

Checkout FxReplay (running on browser & monthly subscription) if you want to backtest on an interface similar to TradingView or Forex Tester 5 (running on OS & lifetime license) if you want something similar to MetaTrader. Both are fine, but Forex Tester 5 is way more expensive.

Of course! FxReplay comes with 7 years of historical data on 14 symbols. Forex Tester 5 comes with 20 years of historical data on 18 symbols within the lifetime license, but you can pay for more.
Have you tried MT5 backtesting tool? It’s pretty easy to use also if your broker has quality quotes you don’t need to make additional research where to find prices.
