Software used for chart analysis

Hi Guys,

I am a newbie to Forex trading and this site is amazing. I am learning so much and wish I had found this long time ago. What is the software used for the chart analysis? I see the screenshots provided in different forms seem to be from one application

Probably MT4, most brokers offer it now but their standard charting software can usually be tweaked to look how ever you want it (ie it could be customised). However, I’ll guess that it is in fact MT4.

MT4 is heavily used but is horrible. The execution is really bad due to how their servers work on a per broker basis. If your going to take this seriously think about investing in a professional level platform. Usually the licenses are less than 3k but after having to scrap trades and other troubles for me it was worth it. Just make sure your platform and broker API are compatable

MT4 is the best and popular program for trading and analysis now. Moreover, you can use additional indicators for analysing.

Thank for answer. What can you tell about zulutrade platform. Is it good for beginners. Or it would be better to choose MT4. What platform do you think is the best for newbie.

I think that it’s better to start learning on mt4. using zulu trade you simply learn nothing.

Have you worked with MT? What are pitfalls are there on MT4? I’ve heard that there some problem working there.
