Perhaps this is going to work out in your favour in the end. FXCM is known for their poor data feed and connection problems during live trading and I’m sure your poor customer service experience is likely to continue. I have no hesitation in recommending FXDD. I opened my account a long time ago, but I believe that is still easy to do and they are reliable and honest.
The only problem is their spreads aren’t very competitive anymore. They do have fixed spreads which I like, but 4 pips on G/U is a bit much. I have heard things about GOMarkets, IAMfx and FxPro.
