Has anyone read any Soros books about his theory of relexivity and thought about to how to incorporate it into their trading?
I think his boom-bust model fits very nicely with technical trend following models. I’ve been looking for a way to learn more about fundamentals and I find this very interesting. This is an explanation of refelxivity if anyone is interested:

If i say “Trading is like cooking, you have to developp your own style” are you going to “try to incorporate” my theory in your trading, or will you instantaneously realise that i’m just talking about my life and saying some bull**** metaphore about trading ?
It is exactly the same with Soros bro.
The web is FULL of DETAILED strategies and psychology about trading, and even with that, we got 90 % of loser. If we had to masturbate on each word that some market guru say without explaining anything , 10 lives wouldnt be enought to take the first trade.
It sounds like something that could explain the business cycle.
I have the Alchemy of Finance but haven’t started reading it yet. It looks really good.
This is off-topic, but I also want to read The Misbehavior of Markets by Mandelbrot, the fractal guy. That’s supposed to be good too. He was the first to discover price distributions have ‘fat tails’ ie rare things aren’t so rare in the markets.
