Any ideas what will happen to SPX 500 with Baiden?
When thinking about how price has an upward trajectory the reasons behind it and then thinking up ahead - what would it take to change that direction, what is more likely - more buying or sudden selling?
Would for example an increase in vaccine roll out help the buyers. Would an increase in consumer spending have any effect.
Look to the policies and their likely effect and forget the politics - imo of course
As long as the Fed is in the game and rates stay low, equity bubbles will continue to inflate.
There will come a point when bonds compete w/ equities for capital, but, we are not even close. I’ve heard somewhere around the 3% mark on the US10Y.
Trying to predict short-term stock market behaviour from fundamentals is a trap. If you’re a long-term investor, holding a stock for 20, 30, 40 years, then a new president is a bend in the road its not worth avoiding. If you’re a trader, just trade what you see in the charts.
One person’s trap is another person’s opportunity - ‘fundamentals’ cover risk indicators including but not limited to the Russell 2000, Gold, Yen and Chf, bond yields Us10yr price … all applicable to day traders - oh and buy Turnaround Tuesday if prev week down?
Thanks but no thanks.
What I see as an opportunity might be a trap for someone else. That’s why I always focus on trading as per my understanding. I have tried to follow other’s footprints but they didn’t always work. So, with time as I gained experience and obtained knowledge, I trade according to what I understand.a
Predicting the market the right way is just not possible. Sometimes even the most obvious predictions turn out to be wrong. It comes with experience. With time, you learn to decide how much you should risk per trade and what impact the market can have on your trades. There is simply no way to predict what may happen.
I don’t think that the presidentship of anyone can affect the market as much as people think it would. The only things that affect the forex market primarily are supply and demand.
