Hey there guys,
Firstly, I’d like to extend my gratitude to everyone who contributes on this forum, it truly is packed with bright, smart and great people happy to share their experiences and help others.
I’ve recently started in the world of Forex (well, the practise platforms) and am looking for advice as to a strategy that I can exercise daily. I’m self employed and can engage in Forex Trading in between my daily work, so time isn’t a problem.
I’ve looked into scalping, but obviously I’d like a broader perspective and I think you guys may be able to help!
Thanks in advance
Tom
I will not go into strategies with you as we have quite a few threads on them. I will recommend learning price action first. As most strategies use at least some type of price action in them. There are a few good threads on here and also if you have not done so already check out the school of babypips it is very resourceful and a huge help to getting you into the world of forex
Hi Bobmaninc,
Thanks for your suggestion, I’ve checked out a few Youtube video’s now on Price Action and found it to be really helpful, so thanks for your input here, much appreciated.
I’ve also found some great threads about strategy too, wonderful forum!
Cheers
Tom
In starting, you should use some common trading strategies given in this forum as well as other forex forums like using stop loss, starting with minimum amount etc. Going for advance trading strategies would not good idea.
Good for you. Hope it works out.
If you just stick to price action, you will be on the right track. Its changing methods that will increase the amount of time it will take for you to become profitable.
I recommend sticking to time proven techniques that have worked time and time again. Like head and shoulders, support and resistance, swing points ect ect.You don’t need to go building a method to get a holy grail trading method. The holy grail is in your mind. A lot of methods are profitable if you have the right mind driving the method.
There are a tonne of time proven trading methods at my website in my profile. Good luck.
