Starting out with MT5

I am just starting on my MetaTrader journey and have decided to get straight into MT5.

If anyone has any good tips, or knows of particularly good online learning material, especially videos, etc, I would be interested.

My particular focus is on:

  • Trading FX
  • Using Gann tools
  • Working across multiple screens (PC version)

Welcome aboard this great education site which contains many free courses for you to learn. Just take it easy, one step at a time. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

You might also try out Trading View, as well as MT5, which many traders use as a platform.

from my first day of trading i have been using MT5 which is really informative and comfortable to use.

Thanks, yes I am use TradingView and cTrader as well. While there are many things like about all of them, I am yet to find any one that really hits the spot. Probably the biggest obstacle I find with TradingView is that the data is so limited, especially in Forex, I keep running in the dinosaur icon, that shows limit of historical data.
