Stay away from the Steinitz robot trader it is a scam.
I had a hard time setting up the robot. I emailed the owner and he had the most rotten attitude I’ve ever encountered online. I asked for assistance with the setup. No matter what I tried and what he told me, everything failed.
He offered to take over my computer and fix the problem and suggested that there would be a $75 fee for him to do so. I was really angered by that. I had just paid $200 for his robot which didnt work, it was not my fault. Then he wanted $75 on top of that…He told me he sold over 8,000 copies I believe and if his system never losses a trade then I’m figuring that he’s a millionaire…so what’s with all the bogus fees? That was truly baffling to me.
It worked on a demo account but not on a live account. The system lost the first trade I tried on demo. So much for never losing.
The customer service is poor and the product is trash. I advise all newbies to bypass that product.
IMO, ALL robots are scams. If he says his, “system,” never loses then you know for sure it’s a scam he’s selling. He wouldn’t have to worry about sellling 8000 copies. All he’d have to do is use it himself to become rich or document it in a way that leaves no doubt and sell it to to just one person for millions.
FYI, the fee’s are part of the upsell. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few days from now you get an e-mail about x system add on, or something else that’s even more super duper.
If you want to be a successful trader learn to do it yourself. If you are too lazy/don’t have the time to learn, ect…then don’t bother with trading. It takes skill, human skill, a robot can’t do it consistently for a large amount of time.
i do not understand why people buy theese automaded systems. no offence but wouldnt you rather create a system that you developed?? Rather then pay someone you never met $200 $300 or even a grand for a EA that MIGHT make you some money.
and for the record i dont care how good of a trader you are I doubt their is any system out their that never loses and if their is i doubt someone would sell it.
if you want to make money in forex do what the successful traders do and develop your own system. dont go around and buying indicators/auto-systems/signals from others. because if you start relying on others to trade for you you will never develop as a investor. in fact you probobly wont learn anything at all from those types of sales.
if you are using forex as a get rich quick or turn your $200 to $10,000 in a year then start learning how to do it yourself. the good part is that the education is basicly free, the school on babypips, so many forex fourms you cant name them all, free magazines online about it, even live chatlinks from brokers and websites like this one are all here to aid you in becoming a successful investor. do the legwork yourself and stop relying on others do pull you on the wagon.
Which is exactly why he is a millionaire. As someone said in Jack Schwager’s said in New Market Wizards most of the traders who become advisors or write books about the subject of trading are the ones who failed.
Just to chime in; I have done a little reading and found that these robots take while to set up and learn. I guess each one is different but the best is supposed to be Forex autopilot and Forex killer. I have read both good and bad about these products but have made a decision not to invest do to the retraining that is required. I would rather know where I made my mistakes through my own strategies then have it wiped out by misunderstood process I am not familiar with. There are quite few of these robots out there now and all claim one is better than the other. I suppose to find out you must jump in an make the purchase. Good luck to those who do!
I could be wrong on this, but I don’t think Mr.Wortel is ever going to come back to this forum. He used to teach on other websites but they’ve disappeared as well. You can however reach him on facebook. What a shame, it looks like we have missed the heyday of this forum (in terms of thread hits at least).
Guys, I am going to give Steinitz a shot. I think his concept is sound. Stay with the greater trend. Maybe his bedside manor leaves something to be desired but I am not interested in that. I will keep you posted. I’ve lost much more in the past than the $149 he is asking. Peanuts.
