US-based e-payment portal Square (NYSE: SQ) stock jumped 10% on Monday after the company agreed to acquire Australian buy now, pay later firm Afterpay for approximately $29B.
“Square and Afterpay have a shared purpose,” Square CEO Jack Dorsey said.
