Hi, in the last trade I put my stop loss in the same place as trading view (price). It got activated on ctrader but in trading view looked fine. The arrow shows where the stop loss got activated on CTRADER.
I´m with comission in my broker, what do you think could happen?
If the chart that you’re looking at on TradingView isn’t provided by your broker then the price will likely be slightly different. Like if you enter your trades on Sway Markets but are analyzing with an Oanda chart on TradingView.
The charts are close but if you look closely each broker will be different based on the variable spreads that help to pay the broker. You won’t necessarily see the spread on TradingView by default.
But I’m not with spread, Im with comission
Can. You explain?
So you recommend me to use the chart with the broker
Is there a way I can copy the analyze from one to another?
If your not looking at your broker’s chart on TradingView, it’s going to be different than the prices on your trading platform
If you’re broker doesn’t have charts on TradingView, you should find the chart on TradingView that tracks the closest to your broker’s price. It won’t be perfect, but it will get your closer.
You should use TradingView as a general guide but rely on your broker’s chart for the final analysis.
Is there a way to move my analyze?
Not really a way to transfer without manually re-drawing. Analyze on TradingView and do your entries on ctrader. Set your stop loss based on the structure you see on your broker’s chart not what’s on TradingView.
At least I put my broker usdjpy on trading view
I notice that you trade usdjpy. With that being the case you might want to consider trading jpy futures. In futures there is only 1 chart from the CME and all brokers have the exact same price.
Idk anything about futures
Like Ive just seen forex and gold
Futures aren’t so much different in trading because charts are charts and the same strategies should work in either. The big difference is transparency and regulation. CFD forex is like the ghetto version of futures (no disrespect to the ghetto).
It would be nice if we could copy the analyze to another chart
You can always sign up for a broker that has tradingview integration. That way you could analyze and trade directly from tradingview
Mine has
But the execution is slow and there are other fees
You can always skip tradingview altogether and do you analysis and entries on ctrader. I never used ctrader but it can’t be worse than analyzing on MT4.
No, I stay like using usd/jpy chart of my broker on trading view, and trade on ctrader
But I guess that was the thing
The price is different on the broker
cTrader is good enough for conducting analysis. Or is there a feature missing? Why use TradingView? Just asking out of curiosity.
