Hi

I’m looking for a simple EA for MT4 that can be used as a stop loss not if price touches a level, but if it closes above/below that level on a certain time frame. Does anyone know of such an EA?

What level would that be? A line you drew? A moving average? Fractals? Fibs?
Your post is rather unspecific.

I would use a price number, just like with a regular stop loss.
As we all know sometimes the market gets above resistance only to come back down again without closing above it and your stop is hit, and you are out of the ride.
I need to set a stop that will only get triggered if for example price closes above 1.2500 on 1H timeframe.

You would think such a simple function should be built in from scratch in MT4…
