Could you please share your experience with the supertrend indicator strategy? Tips and tricks?

I could Google this and find plenty of sources for the strategy (I don’t use it, it isn’t familiar to me) but what is the source you are using?

I don’t use Supertrend but I am familiar with EMA crossovers - I suppose everyone starts with MA crossovers and if they’re lucky they get hold of a better strategy.

MA’s are relevant to look at when considering a trend. When a short-duration MA lies above a long-duration MA and both are below price, this tends to confirm an uptrend. But the point in time along the trend at which the two MA’s cross over is irrelevant, it has no relevance to the trend and is effectively random.

MA crossovers work but not very well, the win rate and profitability do not always protect you from being wiped out.
