Take Profit Points?

Hi,

I had a trade today and clearly price reached my profit target but the trade was not closed and reversed on me…is this something to do with bid an ask prices i.e I had gone short on GBP/CHF, does the bid or ask price have to reach my take profit price?

When you are short, the ask price must reach your order level to get triggered. When long, it’s the bid.

Always remember, you buy at the ask and sell at the bid.
