Team Trading for higher profits!

I had a thought today that I well, thought was worth putting out to the community for critique

The more I learn about true Technical trading as opposed to my past haphazard trading of stocks, the more learn how much I dont know ad nauseamIt seems you should really be monitoring so many things at once which of course you cant do or cant do effectively right??

Lets take the comdolls for example; you really need to be monitoring commodity prices plus news for both sides plus the dollar index plus plus plus.

So.

If you were able to effectively monitor all these at the same time wouldnt you then have an advantage over the competition? Then came the idea of Team Trading! Lets say you have two or probably three traders linked with headsets who work together as a team. Each is responsible for their particular aspect of the trading day. One (probably the best candle person) making the actual trades, one continually watching the news and the upcoming news events and the other watching the other indexes like treasuries commodity prices and the $ index. Youd be giving each other input for the trade and help avoid goofy mistakes as well…The trick is to see if you could work effectively in concert and get a real groove thing going ?? Might actually make it more fun, much less stressful as your part of a team and potentially very profitable! Youd pool resources and split earnings paid monthly just like a business

So

Is this done already ?? Is this just another one of Jims bone head posts??

Comments???

It is done. At trading houses they often have a desk analyst (or something like) that who identifies interesting trading ideas. The actual traders make the buys/sells.

That’s actually a very good approach. Some people are good analysts and can pick out awesome trades, but suck as actual traders. Meanwhile, some folks are really good traders, but not so much on the analysis.
