The sharp bounce in USDCAD from lows around 1.0467 and an interesting close at 1.0650 make us think that a low is in place also confirmed by candle stick formattion on D1 and W1 and that recent CAD rally is over.
Technical Alert
Buy USDCAD
Buy EURCAD
Sell CADJPY
These 3 are due for a nice reversal, and a weaker CAD. Thanks and have a nice day!
Long USDCAD 1.0600, target well over 1.1000 for long term. A bottom is in place for USDCAD even if it managed to make another swing down, the outlook will be CAD bearish.
You may be a little early in recommending a buy for the USDCAD. My indicators are showing resistance at the 1.0580 level with a trap door below 1.0491. Should this Market trade higher on Monday Sept 10 and still settle lower than 1.0574, consider further downside at week’s end.
Let me get this straight. You followed my advice and are now -83 pips (that’s minus 83 pips?). Perhaps, you should reread what I had to say and then take another look at the where the USDCAD is currently.
Joey90210 - don’t defend Topchess - it was clear to everyone what he meant - had the USDCAD rallied, he would have claimed the call was correct … no doubt about it!
Wondering where all the clairvoyants have disappeared to now?
10 Lessons for today:
Lesson - Be careful with ego-driven statements!
Lesson - Don’t take advice from Chat rooms!
Lesson - Be sure the poster specifies a time-frame for the forecast!
Lesson - Be sure the poster has an excellent track-record!
Lesson - Be sure the poster owns responsibility for his calls!
Lesson - Be sure the poster returns to the scene of the crime to explain error!
Lesson - When the herd is saying one thing … do the opposite!
Lesson - Eventually the clairvoyant will be correct … if his money lasts that long!
Lesson - Don’t listen to me - I don’t know either!
Lesson - Trade what you see … not what you hope!
Still chuckling - and waiting for the explanation … and the “bottom” !
Topchess - I am still waiting for further follow-up about this pair - gone to ground has it?
You are definitely crossed off my Christmas list!
People who post forecasts eventually learn that the market will ignore forecasts!
Don’t take it personally - keep some levity - you are not the first nor the last to destroy a reputation while attempting to build it.
I tried to call the ASX direction once - got it right!
Then I thought "Oooohhh - I am so good at this and so popular - I can do this in the dark!"
But then the market ignored all my calls!
The “10 Lessons” are for me as well I still fall into traps.
One of the best things I learned was to take myself lightly - keep smiling - don’t look back - laugh at myself and laugh at life and with life.
With best wishes
Ingot (who is still learning)
