Texas hold em?

Hi All. I have been “bouncing” around on here, checking various threads etc, as well as other forums too. Seen many comments on NOT using MT4, as they cheat you.
What do I use then?

I have also noted that all trading sites are NO different really than online casinos. They offer “demo” mode & “real money” modes.

Also, the amount of “homework” required does NOT mean you will actually trade and make ANY money…therefore is it not easier to just play TEXAS HOLD EM ?

You are totally misinformed on everything you just said.

First, MT4 is just a program offered by most brokers. It’s an industry standard and can in NO way cheat you. Bucket shop brokers might, but not MT4.

The reason for demo and live mode is so that people can learn the fluctuation in currencies and can learn to develop a plan and put it into action.

And the “homework” you do means you have that much better of a chance succeeding. Remember, this is a business. Poker is gambling. There are similarities between this and gambling but the difference is is that hard work and devotion can turn a profit.

Are you inferring that there is no homework needed to play high stakes
Texas hold 'em?

MT4 is the platform that the brokers use it cannot in itself
cheat you.

I didn’t read the whole thread…only the first couple of posts, but what it seems to state is that whatever plug-in it was updated with, only applied to crappy brokers.

You can have the best program but with a shady broker you’ll have bad experiences.

Just like you can have the ****tiest platform but have the best service (Oanda).

Focus more on trading and worry less about people cheating you. When you want to go live, choose a reputable broker. Then you won’t have to worry about anything.

OK…thanks for that advise. BUT can you just point me in the right direction…
Oanda I will use…but what else ?

If you go with Oanda use MT4 for charting with either IBFX or MB Trading through a demo account. You could also try GFT’s Dealbook, either platform for charting. However there are way more indicators programmed and readlily available for MT4.
