The discussion is about prop firm

I want to try out trading with a prop firm but I’m confused on which one is legit. There are a lot of prop firms out there and also a lot of scammers disguised as prop firms out there.

I believe that a lot of people here have used prop firms.
Please I need recommendations on which one I should go for. A tested and trusted prop firm.

I’m Nigerian. Incase of some restrictions on some countries.

I would try either FTMO or possibly 5%ers.

It’s not a personal recommendation. I haven’t used one, myself. Just widespread secondhand information from others.

I use LUX trading firm as it has not caused me any difficulties regarding their firm, and they provide ample time to meet their requirements.

I agree with you. Many scam prop firms company right now and every month another prop firm closing which prove most of them aren’t sustainable. Most of them also are only new and most of the time offer cheap price or huge discount to attract traders to their company.

As a prop firm trader we want to trade with those companies who proven themselves as legit, trustworthy and operating long years which speak more about sustainability and less chance of going to close.

I recommend this three firms:

  1. Audacity Capital - since 2012 they here.
  2. FTMO - since 2015 they here.
  3. 5ers - since 2016 they here.

Hopefully you get the reason why I suggested this three firms.

Article by prominent financial news media company about FTMO turnover/revenue last year.

The amount of money this firm is bringing in is shocking really. Good for them.

I would recommend to keep an eye on ATFunded. They are launching soon and have some cool ideas.

Stay way from prop firms

why do you have that opinion?

If your good enough use your own money and compound , and if you have a winning strategy they sell it to copy trade sites

If you had your own funds to trade, you wouldn’t be in the catchment market for a prop firm anyway.

They’re targeting people without enough funds of their own.

That’s an interesting theory.

Even if they could reverse engineer it well enough to do that, do you really think their users include people with viable, marketable systems that “copy trading sites” would pay for?

Do you have evidence of this remarkable claim, or is it just a hunch?

Oh yes they’ve been doing it for years , now they even promote they you can copy trade - they simply pick the best performance, pass it on to the hundreds of other sites

Just google prop firm copy trading
They all do it , but the ones actually advertising they do copy trading too , are really milking the silly people

Do you have any evidence of this remarkable claim?

They started doing it in in the 2000’s
There was an article but can’t find it

Here are some people talking about it

You’re actually confusing two completely different things: those were not “prop firms” in the sense or with the meaning of the words being used in this forum, where “prop firms” actually means “forex funding companies” (they didn‘t even exist, back then).

Thanks, but your reddit link isn’t evidence: it’s gossip (at best).

I go to the big forums , it’s common knowledge. I don’t get confused
