I spoke with the FBS agent and he told me that they were going to close my account without giving me an explanation. It seems like a broker scam to me and they say it’s regulated. I think it’s because I registered from Spain using a VPN, which is legal. They say I’m thinking of moving to another high-leverage broker.

Was your account regulated by SySEC or ASIC or just “regulated” in Belize? Big, important question.

Did you give them a false address?
They’d certainly close your account (and have to) if you did.
Why did you use a VPN?

FBS is registered as a company in Belize. I think perhaps you had a lucky escape.

Yes, it sounds that way. 
I don’t understand why you decided to use a VPN. What did you want to conceal from them, @miguelgta ?
Was this one a high-leverage account, Miguel? If so, it can only have been “regulated” in Belize, because EU (and Australian) regulators wisely don’t allow high leverage. “Regulated” in Belize isn’t really regulated at all.

10 or 15 members have explained, kindly and patiently and repeatedly, to you, here, in many different threads you’ve started, why you need to use only properly regulated accounts and avoid high leverage scams. At the risk of boring you to death by repetition, what matters is by whom your account is regulated.
I hope and trust you’ll get a refund from this broker and choose a safer one next time.

Something can be perfectly legal but still contrary to a company’s terms of service, you know?
I don’t understand this. Are you saying that they’re stealing your funds, or are they refunding them?
