I’d like to define them as a middle man between buyer and seller!
Forex broker is a firm or an individual that works as the intermediary between the buyer and seller.
There are to many brokers now days. (so the chances of scammers are high)
What do you think? Do they act much?

We can discuss issues regarding brokers that may help to choose a broker and this will be interesting.
IMO, forex broker is a bridge to bring the market price to trader screen and bring trader money to the market for trading. Then charge the comission. In general, broker is a trading service for small capital trader.
Despite market-maker nature, there are always responsible market-makers (brokers). Still, I see the industry adapting NDD model.
