Hi @5ers , when people pass one of your evaluations, do you actually fund them, i.e. open an actual account with funds in it, which they trade, at a broker?
I’m asking because I was just reading a very recent thread here where some members had a difference of opinion about this obviously important point, so it would be great to clarify it, please.

Funded traders’ accounts are connected to our pool accounts.
The risk department then manages those accounts.
You can see on MT5 that both the account and the server are live.
Please excuse my interfering but I was one of the people in the discussion John referred to above, which gave rise to his question.
Looks like I was wrong, then? I was saying that 5%ers does actually fund accounts at a broker for the people who have passed, and that all their trades are actually transacted in a genuine market. Was I wrong?
I’m not sure what this means.
Does it mean that 5%ers are in effect cancelling out the positions of their “funded” traders and just off-setting your net liabilities?
Is there an actual broker involved?
Do you own the broker?
Are you in fact the counterparty?
Sorry to “fire questions” at you(!!!) but I may inadvertently have been misinforming people about your business, in which case I need to correct that! I’d be so grateful if you could please clarify the questions above - thanks in advance.
Funded traders’ accounts are connected to our pool accounts, which are connected to LPs (not to brokers).
We do not open each individual trader account at the broker.
