Hi traders.
I have a silly story of what happened to my trade today. I was searching all day for a proper trade setup. Finally something comes up. I prepared my stop order and stop loss. I even drew a line for my take profit. Thing is… I never did enter my take profit order. Trade unfolds and goes exactly to the take profit price only to reverse completely and hit my stop loss! And it took me a few minutes to realise why my take profit didn’t work.
Anyone else have a similar story?
OMG I would have been upset. 
HAHA I feel you! I’ve been through something similar. But it’s the SL that I sometimes forget to input.

Yes I was mad and bitter. I have made it a rule to enter stop loss together with a stop order.
Understandable. I would be too. Lol. If you don’t mind, does your strategy also include rules on setting your TP and SL?
Yes indeed. Stop loss under previous peak when going long. Take profit is a measured move.
