I listened to market wizard Tom Bassos talking to Michael Covel in the January 1st episode of Covel’s podcast and found a reinvigoration of my commitment to my own analysis and trading when Basso said: “It’s not a panacea to go to work for somebody else and learn what they are doing. I think it’s better for you to learn how to do it on your own and trade your own stuff successfully.” The arbitrager on acid perspective is here.
Is learning to trade from others possibly more disadvantageous than grinding out a trial and error individual effort?
Anyone else listen to Covel’s podcasts?
