Does anyone trade on only 1 currency/commodity only to make consistent profits?

I only trade the S&P500 after 5pm GMT and nothing else and just wondering if anyone else was the same?

Yeh for a long time I only watched and traded one pair… Probably learned the most during that time as well. The hardest part was to get over the feeling of “missing out” on opportunities that other pairs could be giving. In reality, just focusing on the one pair really created more quality opportunities for me because I had a really good “feel” for the pair and could pick out more trades as I was fully engrossed in the one chart.

I only trade the CABLE on my account. Trading one or two pairs only helps one focus on and master the behavior of the
currency pair. You can be able to explain history and should it repeat itself you will at a position to get the most out if it.
profits will be consistent because you already know the pair’s behavior.

I watch 28 pairs (combination of major currencies) for ideal set ups and to have a view on currency correlations. That doesn’t mean all possible setups and pairs are traded. Trades the best setup based on my strategy subject to a maximum of two open positions at any given time.
