I have been trading forex for a while now and everyday I forecast the currencies pair entry without using indicators and it work out well for me. Everyday I will post it on my blog to keep track.
Do you use indicators to trade? If yes which one and how well it work out?
I’m more of a fundamental trader, don’t use so much indicators, they are kind of complicated for me… I base my trades on the market sentiments and results to trade. My broker ACM has a news tool on the platform that gives the market sentiment about 15 min before an announcement and then another review as soon as the results are out.
I think that is the easiest way, and quite profitable too
please tell us more about it and define quite profitable, I’ve always wanted to know how people trade on sentiment. Dukascopy has a sentiment tool u can use for free but it never really worked for me without enduring significant drawdown
I find trading price action alone (chart patterns etc) without indicators vastly improved my win ratio! But you have to understand the psychology behind these patterns and market sentiment IMO in order to fully take its advantage and understand their limitation. Anyway this is all in demo trading though.
I trade using only trendlines. Everyday I will draw trendlines to determine the currencies pair is in up or down trend. Most important the opening price will determine I will take up the position or not.
Any feedback about my trading style without indicators?
