I am quite new to this job about 3 month I do trade some forex and like nikkei or dax. I was reading a lot
about and found your scool a month ago. Its the best of all i saw! thanks pipies! (MY English may not be
correct all the time im German.) So… I need your help. I make something wrong but I dont know what it is.
I tell you what I do:
(today audusd short)
First of the day i look your greath info for chart and the callender if something impostant is on. Then I
chosse some currency witch looks to have a trend in 3h and 1h chart. That I deside to trade in short term 5m
and 1m time frame to pick the small waves but in hope its in the trend anyway. So I wait for a top with is in
5m chart oversold then I go to 1m and look to get the best oversold as well (looking also at the ticks, this
may be crazzy). Hoping the top is a top to go down soon.
But now maybe with my less experience often it was not the true top and I stop it out or if it makes profit I
didnt let it go to make the full profit and I cut to soon the profit.
Any tips or advice to work in 5/1min time frames?

Use USD/JPY as a tool… Like EU for instance, When UJ falls, I go Long on EU…
The pair is a great indicator (UJ)
Here is what my Chart Looks like… The U/J chart in the lower left corner has a meter that shows the direction of the 1,2,3,4,5 Moving averages, but reversed colors, so Red means its really going up, but because I go opposite, I reversed them to cohere to EU… The blue boxes are from a system I made using the :05 candle as a " mother candle" … Never trade against the Heat map of the Daily…
Its in Profit, but because I use a trail stop, ( 1.5) i dont get much, and its up 10 pips right now on this entry. My exit strat is garbage.

I learned that usdjpy move contrary to eurusd. But does it move sooner or are they just parallel?
Then I am wondering about your graphic. Is that a special software or a indicator and how I could use it?
Give it better results with moving averages then with stockastic or cci in short time frames?
Man, Oanda MT4 is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo laggy when price moves at a Not normal pace… Then, like when this move occured, my screen freezes, to where it takes like 10 seconds to even interact with the chart. Its HORRIBLE…

I just recently started to use this set-up with UJ… This week actually… But so far, what i can tell, with strong opinion, when UJ dumps HARD, or Jump HARD, it starts the Move… You have your fluctuation, so its not fool proof, but when its major movement, EU follows, Or Does the oppisite… I havent seached the internets for info on it, this is just my observation.
As for the Software, its all MT4, but I customized a few indicators for myself…
I know how to add a (adaptive?) moving averages or modify the the period (1,2,3,4,5 ?). But it will be a line and not showing like a rectangular in your nice colours. How can I add those in all time frames? I dont understand how to fix it in my screen.
Man, I cant figure out how to add a file.
Its a indicator from The RumpledOne, and I modded it for a differant Moveing average.

Go to this thread, and download the file, then look for the TRO_Multi_Meter_MA_Color
Then, you have to mod it for each moveing average, and rename it, Like MA1, then MA2, Then MA3 or something like that, Just keep copyin them, and renameing them, but DONT easere none of the code, even the header, TRO can be a jackA$$
O, and by no means is the grail, I just think it can be profitable for scalpers…
oh thanks mate, I will try this. and just with 1 small screen usdjpy (1min) and eurusd (5min) i got some small pips. yeah. (even I missed the big move) thanks a lot. but ill back with questions dont worry

There are hours it works best, and when its ranging, the buys turn to sells, and the sells turn to buys…

Now i got some question popin up. I use MT5 for my account but I still have other MT4 installed. Do I need change then? I wondering it wouldnt work in MT5, right?
Hey Bud, I have no idea about mt5…
You could just use MT4 as a chart tool, and manually enter the trade… Im working on a Robot for this strat, but Im not to bright in that department, so its taking awhile…
Then, my indicator for the breakout box doesnt update properly, so i have to refresh at :10 after the hour… So i have to get that figured out…
Even just entering on everything green, or everything Red, will work…
Never checked out MT5…
The whole object is to go with the most loved direction at that time, so I use the Heat Map, and go by the Daily Time Frame…
BUT, Using important S/R with common sense helps…
Like EU right now hit my 1.3307 mark… Now, Even tho the heat Map is all Green, its pretty high volatility today, so if you wish to continue, things like that need to be looked into…( S and R)
Also, its 16:00 est, and thats a No Trade hour for my system… Those are 1,12,13,14,15,16,22,23
The open hours are most less likely to give whips after price break, or as I call them, Uncontested trades.

I got that indicator fixed in the MT4, but only with standard numbers and one line. Now you spoke about to rename it… OK. but then what I will need to change for the other lines? MAperiode? I see in your pic 5/9 lines, what are those lines for?

OK, What you have to do is go into MetaEditor an make another Indicator, but you’ll be erasing and copyin the code, and naming it… Then, change the period, and then you have to change the positioning on the chart so they line up correctly…
I have done 20 of these actually, 1-20 Moving average for testing purposes… But I just use the 1-10…
If you dont know how to do the " new indicator" I have a little pictorial set up for this purpose…
