Trading in the Zone VS The Disciplined Trader

These are the 2 books by Mark Douglas…

Witch one is the better book or are they quite similar??

I have read both books, and i have read “The Disciplined Trader” two times in a row. This is my review.

The Disciplined Trader was written around 1990 while “Trading in the Zone” was written around 2000. Yet i think The Disciplined Trader is way better than the later book, it’s really a classic. “Trading in the Zone” has a few additions, but the vast majority of the ideas there are the same (they’re just dumbed down a bit, Mark probably wanted to reach a wider public) as the ones In The Disciplined Trader.

If you read one of either book you won’t need to read the other, that i assure you. I would suggest you read The Disciplined Trader, Mark Douglas’ ideas (which he repeats in Trading in The Zone in a simpler way) there are much more deeply explained.
